How
compliant is your system? 48%, 78% or 98%
compliant?
Is it 100% on intent but perhaps only 50% on implementation. With this

"I have used the ISO9001 Auditing & Analysis
tool several times now and it
has allowed me to keep track of my work electronically, faster and
more reliable than my old method of taking notes. The tool has saved
me time and effort, and in addition, has allowed me to track progress
in relation to task being implemented. I have also used this to
perform a full business audit, regardless of the need for ISO 9001
certification, which has helped me identify weaknesses in the business
that I can then
apply best practice management methods to. All in all, this is quite a
powerful tool" |

The subject of each
requirement of ISO 9001:2000 is identified making 250 requirements in
total. The subject of the requirement rather than the requirements
themselves are stated for simplicity. Requirements within a 'shall'
statement have been decomposed where the response to one part of the
statement may well be different to that of another part.
Provision is made for both
identifying the evidence of intent and implementation thus making the
tool useful for system auditors doing the desktop audit and later
recording the implementation audit. It can also be used by system
developers for capturing system design features, tracing policies to
requirements and identifying omissions.
The power of excel is used
to score responses as compliant/noncompliant and calculate percentage
compliance against elements and clauses. Summary tables and charts
are included to show at a glance how compliant your ISO 9001:2000 Quality System is. Just examine the
screen shots below - it speaks for itself. |
